As of today, I’m nearly finished with the editing process, all the footage is collected and most of it is assembled and edited properly. I just need to put the finishing touches on it and include and ending credits and it’s finished.

Last Friday me and a friend of mine filmed the video, me performing the lyrics and my friend performing (legal) spray can art. Me and my friend finished filming and this week I’ve been assembling the footage.
Because the video of him painting was much longer than the song, I had to speed it up and since then I’ve been interweaving it with stock footage from Hip-Hop videos to make my video come true.
I’m most of the way through my video even there’s been some technical difficulties with saving it due to disk space.
Last week I finished up my storyboards and worked out the equipment I’d need for the filming. I also made plans with a classmate on how to make the video reality.
For today I will be collecting stock-footage for my music video. The video is to include clips from Planet Rock, Straight Outta Compton, Poppa Large, The Message, Fight The Power and End 2 End burners.
For my music video so far I’ve written out a shooting script, planned out the video and I’ve story boarded the whole thing, in a week or two I will commence filming it.
For the storyboard, the inital version I drew looked really bad so I redid it in Publisher using stock images, aftewords I went about listing and making arrangements for the reasources needed .
Here the idea piece for pitching my music video ideas-for-music-video
I ended up going with the song Let The Record Show because it was the most feasible in terms of budget.
The actual pitch went okay even though I ended up having to improvise most of it because I’d only prepared properly in my head.
